For 45th year in a row, Seattle’s Lake Washington Boulevard plays host to Bicycle Sundays, starting May 5, 2013. From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on select Sundays this summer, the stretch of Lake Washington Boulevard between Mount Baker Beach Park to Seward Park entrance will be closed to cars and open exclusively to bicyclists, walkers and runners. Sponsored by Seattle Parks and Recreation and Cascade Bicycle Club.

Bicycle Sundays are a great time to introduce kids to recreational road cycling, or to simply enjoy riding along beautiful Lake Washington on a safe road with no motorized vehicles.
