Erik Moen PT
Erik is the founder/owner of Corpore Sano Physical Therapy and BikePT™. Corpore Sano is a Seattle-area based orthopedic and sports physical therapy clinic. BikePT is a business providing bicycle related continuing education for the healthcare professional as well as being a public resource for bicycling health and performance. Erik has been practicing Physical Therapy since 1992 and is well known for his work with endurance athletes, especially with bicyclists. Erik holds degrees from Pacific Lutheran University and the University of Washington. Erik has helped numerous bicycling athletes achieve high awards through coaching, rehabilitation and performance positioning on the bicycle. The achievements of Erik’s athletes are impressive and include Masters World Championships, Junior National Championships, Elite National Championships, State and Regional Championships, Beijing Paralympic awards, and several awards among numerous triathletes. Erik is an active educator in the cycling community contributing at multiple levels by writing articles, book chapters, and teaching continuing education classes. Erik’s “free-time” is spent with his family, bicycle racing/riding (road, cyclocross, mountain and track), soccer-coaching, and alpine skiing. Ryan Vanderloop, Technical Director, BikePT Bike Fit Consultant
Ryan has been a part of BikePT since its inception, first as an assistant to Erik Moen and now a BikePT fitter contracting to bike shop partners in the Seattle area. Ryan serves as a technical advisor to BikePT and inside the Corpore Sano Physical Therapy clinic. He also coaches triathletes, cyclists and runners at Corpore Sano Sports Performance. Ryan has been an endurance athlete for 20 years and possesses a wealth of knowledge and racing experience in nearly all distances of cycling, triathlon and running. Ryan was raised in Wisconsin and has lived in Seattle for the last 12 years. He has earned coaching certifications through USA Triathlon, USA Cycling and USA Track and Field. Ryan continues to compete on both bike and foot, and spends the rest of his time raising his children with his wife Aleece.
Beth Lyndon PT, MPT
Beth is a 1997 graduate from the University of Puget Sound Physical Therapy program and undergraduate from Colorado College in Colorado Springs, CO. Beth’s orthopedic/sports clinic experience has ranged from out-patient hospital setting to private practice. Beth’s special area of clinical interest is complex issues involving the hip, pelvis and SI joint. Beth works with all levels of athletes and non-athletes by analyzing injuries and related compensation patterns and muscle imbalances as part of the healing process. She empowers her clients to understand their unique musculoskeletal issues and develops exercise programs focused on regaining muscular balance and pain free mobility. Beth has 25 years of bike racing experience and 12 years as a certified USA Cycling coach. Beth’s racing experience has included road (Category 1), mountain (Pro), track (Category 3) and cyclocross (Category 1). Beth has had many racing successes both nationally and internationally. A big one was 1996 Masters Mountain Biking World Championships in Cairns Australia, interestingly enough, while being coached by Corpore Sano/BikePT founder Erik Moen. We are excited to have Beth finally join us at Corpore Sano PT and BikePT!
Michael O’Brien, Technical Advisor
Mike O’Brien rides almost every day, testing product or just staying fit. Originally from Tacoma, Washington, he now calls Seattle home. He has been building custom bicycle frames since 1981. As a technical advisor to BikePT, Mike brings over 35 years of bike-fitting knowledge and experience to our team.
